Rocker Talker gets many requests to provide his "take" on rock songs and 'All The Young Dudes' by Mott The Hoople is one of the most requested. This may be in part because there seems to be very little information on its inspiration and actual meaning behind the song. Sadly, the person who wrote it, David Bowie, is no longer here for Rocker Talker to interview.

All in all, it just may be that anyone, including, of course, David Bowie might prefer the song was left to have only a vague understanding. All The Young Dudes by Mott The Hoople is an amazing one-of-a-kind rock song that some suggest was an anthem for a generation and Rocker Talker's take is surely just one of the countless others given over a few beers since its release but hopefully, it adds in some small way to your enjoyment of the song.
